AML and Distribution Analyst (FIRQ3F-BDCF1E98) Dublin, Republic of Ireland
Salary: EUR45000 - EUR50000 per annum
Our client is a global leader in the fintech space, with a mission to create awesome, instant, and secure payment solutions. They are looking for an AML and Distribution Analyst to join their team in Dublin. This role is part of a wider European team of risk and regulatory specialists within the First Line of Defence (FLOD). You will assume ownership and responsibility for continuing the development and maintenance of the Distributor Oversight Framework, building upon the existing processes to enhance and further embed the culture and governance pertaining to risk within the business.
What you'll do:
As an AML and Distribution Analyst, your role will be diverse, encompassing elements such as distributor risk assessment, due diligence, distributor KYB and (where necessary), KYC, regulatory notifications and ongoing monitoring and assurance. You will work closely with Regulatory Operations Team and the Customer Success Team. Your keen commercial acumen will be essential in implementing risk-based and commercially appropriate processes as part of a small team implementing our risk strategy across the region.
1. Oversee and maintain the Distributor Oversight Framework
2. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements set by the Central Bank of Ireland and the European Banking Authority (EBA)
3. Assist with compiling reports on distributor performance, compliance, and operational matters
4. Maintain schedule of Distributor Annual Review Meetings
5. Deliver initial and ongoing due diligence of distributors
6. Identify, assess, and report on potential risks associated with distributors
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the AML and Distribution Analyst role will have experience in risk control within a regulated environment. You should thrive in a dynamic work environment, be solutions oriented, possess a keen commercial acumen, and have significant drive and enthusiasm. Your understanding of risk from both regulatory and commercial perspectives will be crucial in this role. Candidates with experience in all specified competencies as well as those lacking direct experience but with some awareness or understanding in other areas are encouraged to apply.
1. Minimum of 2 - 3 years’ work experience in a financial services environment
2. Working knowledge of the regulatory environment of the Financial Services sector with a focus on payments regulation and AML/CFT regulation
3. Business 3rd level degree preferred
4. Good communication skills both written and verbal
5. Understanding of risk from both regulatory and commercial perspectives
6. Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
