The Director of Value Engineering is a strategic leader responsible for driving value-based selling and customer success strategies that quantify the business impact of Cyara’s solutions. Let's talk about the role and responsibilities:Build and Lead a High-Impact Value Engineering Team:Recruit, develop, and lead a team of Value Engineers who support sales booking and retention cycles by articulating Cyara’s business impact. Define best practices for value-based selling and ensure consistent execution across the team. Drive the Strategy and Execution of Value Engineering:Own and evolve the Value Engineering function, ensuring alignment with Cyara’s revenue goals and sales strategies. Establish repeatable methodologies and frameworks (ROI models, TCO analyses, business impact assessments) to support new business and expansion opportunities. Build solution and vertical based ROI models that drive adoption, usage and value to our customers supporting revenue growth through new bookings and retention Partner with Data, Product, Finance, and Marketing to refine messaging, validate business cases, and enhance Cyara’s value proposition. Work closely with the Data and CSM teams to review specific customer usage and make recommendations for the customer to execute in order to drive higher value back to the customer Develop and execute training programs that equip Account Executives (AEs) and Customer Success Managers (CSMs) with value-selling strategies. Engage with Customers and Influence Key Deals:Act as an executive-level advisor, engaging directly with customers to quantify the financial impact of Cyara’s solutions. Lead value discovery workshops to align Cyara’s capabilities with customer goals and objectives. Operational Excellence & Performance Measurement:Establish KPIs and performance metrics for the Value Engineering function, tracking win rates, deal velocity, and customer adoption trends. Let’s Talk About Your Skills & Expertise:12+ years of experience in Value Engineering, Sales Consulting, Customer Success, Business Consulting, or Financial Analysis in a SaaS environment. 5+ years of leadership experience, with a track record of building and managing high-performing Value Engineering teams. Deep understanding of enterprise sales cycles, value-based selling methodologies, and financial justification frameworks (ROI, TCO, cost-benefit analysis). Exceptional executive presence with experience influencing C-level buyers and financial decision-makers. Strong business acumen with the ability to connect technology solutions to financial and operational outcomes. Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and Finance to align strategies and drive measurable impact. Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts and make compelling business cases. Owner mentality—thrives in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.
