International Payroll Specialist
This is a key role within the Shared Services Centre of a Global Life Sciences Company in Cork.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform month end payroll activities, including journal preparation, accruals, and Balance Sheet reconciliations.
* Ensure timely compliance with local tax payments and regulatory requirements across multiple countries.
* Implement and maintain internal controls to capture changes and differences each month.
* Schedule and facilitate payroll-related meetings and presentations.
* Provide accurate and timely reporting to internal and external agencies.
* Process employee and payroll tax payments efficiently.
* Collaborate with HR and Payroll providers to ensure consistent information flow and accurate payroll processing.
* Develop and maintain control DTP documentation, process flows, and procedures.
* Drive efficiency and process improvements consistently.
* Manage the Payroll SPARC system effectively.
* Work with external providers regarding specific payroll treatment for employees.
* Maintain payroll integrity through collaboration with internal and external audit teams.
Requirements:
* Professional Qualification with IPASS.
* Advanced proficiency in Ms Office Suite, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Oracle, and SAP.
* Effective team player with adaptability and enthusiasm.
* Clear thinker with problem-solving skills and ability to implement solutions.
* Strong communication and negotiation skills for stakeholder engagement.
* Attention to detail for accurate and timely payroll processing.
