ATG are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mining Geologist to join a team in Ireland.
The successful candidate will be responsible for geological mapping, resource estimation, and mine planning to ensure the efficient and safe extraction of mineral resources.

Key ResponsibilitiesConduct geological mapping and sampling programs to evaluate mineral resources.Interpret geological data to support mine planning and resource estimation.Develop and maintain geological models for resource evaluation and grade control.Collaborate with mine engineers to optimize ore extraction and minimize waste.Oversee and support drilling programs, including core logging and sampling.Prepare technical reports and presentations on geological findings.Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.Use GIS, 3D modeling, and other geological software to analyze data.Liaise with regulatory bodies and stakeholders regarding geological matters.Assist in the identification and evaluation of new mineral exploration targets.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's or Master's degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or a related field.Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in mining or exploration geology.Experience with geological software such as Leapfrog, Surpac, or Datamine.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Knowledge of Irish mining regulations and environmental legislation is a plus.Excellent communication and report-writing skills.Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.Salary: Competitive Sector: Geotechnical, Ecology and Environmental Contract Type: Permanent Town/City: Cork
