Job Title: Principal Environmental Scientist
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Principal Environmental Scientist to lead our environmental projects in Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:

* Expert Advice: Provide expert advice on environmental planning, sustainability, and compliance strategies.
* Collaboration: Collaborate with clients, regulatory authorities, and stakeholders to develop sustainable solutions.
* Report Writing: Prepare and review technical environmental reports, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
* Audits and Assessments: Conduct environmental audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
* Mentorship: Mentor and support junior team members, fostering professional growth and development.
* Project Monitoring: Monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
* Professional Development: Stay up to date with evolving environmental legislation and industry trends to inform project strategies.
* Business Development: Participate in business development activities, including proposal writing, client presentations, and networking events.
* Representation: Represent the organization at client meetings, public consultations, and regulatory engagements.
Requirements:
* Experience: Minimum of 8 years' experience in the environmental sector.
* Education: A bachelor's degree (BSc or BA Hons) in environmental science or a related discipline.
* Knowledge: Strong knowledge of EU and Irish environmental regulations and compliance requirements.
* Skills: Excellent project management skills, with the ability to oversee complex and multidisciplinary projects.
* Analysis: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
* Communication: Exceptional communication and report-writing skills.
* Teamwork: Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
* Software: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
