Aleading biotechnology companyare seeking to hire anOperations Technicianjoin their team inSligoon a permanent basis. Reporting to the Operations Team Lead, theOperations Technicianwill be responsible for execution ofmanufacturing activities.
Responsibilities (Full job description available on request):
* Assist in maintaining a safe,GMP compliant workenvironment at all times.
* Become competent and trained on all unit operations includingtableting, blistering, labelling, packaging and antigen manufacture, plus anymanufacturing process or capabilitiesthat may be introduced in the future.
* Operate manufacturing equipmentincluding set-up, operation, cleaning and where applicable maintain equipment.
* Provide input into the creation and maintenance of area SOPs and batch records.
* Perform and document operationsin accordance with cGMP’s.
* Perform environmental monitoring.
* Contamination controlwithin cleanroom environments
* As the company is a start-up, flexibility will be required in relation to working patterns. Shift pattern will be introduced in the future.
Ideal background:
* Desirably hold an ordinary degree in a technical discipline (e.g., pharmaceutical sciences, biotechnology). A minimum of 3 years relevant experience in the biotechnology and/or pharmaceutical industry.
* At least 3 years’ experience in the biotechnology and/or pharmaceutical industry, with operational experience in a GMP environment
* Experience in cleanroom environments
* Experience in aseptic processing would be advantageous.
