Accounts Payable Assistant
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Accounts Payable Assistant to join our dynamic team at Nua Healthcare. This is an ideal position for an applicant looking to broaden their skillset by covering several key functions within the Finance Department.
This will include the following on a day-to-day basis:
1. Responsibility for processing approved Purchase Requisition Forms (PRF’s) and ensuring processed PRF’s are compliant with Nua’s policies and procedures.
2. Processing a large volume of purchase invoices.
3. Setting up new Suppliers.
4. Completion of payment runs.
5. Processing IBB payment.
6. Sending out remittances and dealing with all supplier queries in a timely manner.
7. Assisting Accountants / AP Team Lead with projects as required.
8. Assisting Accountants/AP Team Lead with yearly audits and audit queries.
9. Participate in internal controls and policy compliance projects as required.
10. Proactively suggest ways to automate / streamline existing processes, reduce duplication, eliminate unnecessary admin tasks, make better use of information systems.
11. Adherence to Nua Healthcare Services client confidentiality policies at all times.
Knowledge:
* Knowledge of standards and legislation relevant to the area.
Experience:
* Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role.
* Ability to set own high standards of performance and delivering desired results to strict deadlines.
* Some experience of using Sage Line 50 system.
* High volume experience in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Excellent time management, administration and organisational skills.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong typing skills.
* Professional manner and strong ethical code.
* Ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive.
* Commitment to working efficiently and accurately.
