Job Summary
The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising warehouse operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a safe working environment. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
* Adhere to company safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment.
* Understand customer requirements and deliver excellent customer service.
* Supervise, train, and assist with warehouse operations, including loading/unloading, receiving, sorting, put away, picking, inventory control, and other value-added activities.
* Assign workloads and tasks within the Warehouse Team.
* E nsure the Warehouse Team follows daily/weekly/monthly task lists.
* Act as the primary point of contact for all visitors to the warehouse.
* Enforce safety standards and controls to promote a culture of safety.
* Monitor security within the warehouse and yard.
* Operate the company's Warehouse Management System (PC & Hand Held Scanner).
* Operate clients' own IT systems.
* Operate various Material Handling Equipment (Pallet Trucks, Forklift Trucks, etc.).
* Participate in the warehouse 'on-call' roster.
* Provide holiday/absence cover when required.
Requirements
* Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse environment.
* Leaving Cert or equivalent qualification.
* Strong leadership, communication, literacy, and numeracy skills.
