About The Role
Customer Service & Guest Satisfaction
* To provide top-notch service to customers, responding quickly and efficiently while maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor.
* To handle customer complaints in a timely and reasonable manner.
* To establish and enforce Group standards for quality customer service.
Inventory & Stock Control
* To take full responsibility for stock levels and quality, ensuring adherence to stock control policies, including deliveries, wastage control, storage, security and loss prevention.
* To actively participate in investigations arising from discrepancies in audit reports.
Health & Safety
* To maintain the upkeep and maintenance of premises, both interior and exterior, in good repair and free from hazards, adhering to health and safety regulations, food safety regulations and fire safety regulations.
* To take immediate action where defects arise that may pose potential dangers to customers, employees or members of the public.
* To monitor and ensure staff awareness and compliance with relevant legislation, including employment, health and safety, fire, licensing, tobacco and food safety.
Human Resources/Training & Development
* To manage staffing requirements, recruitment and selection process, and ensure all paperwork is provided in line with Group Policies.
* To train employees in their roles and monitor performance and development to ensure high standards are met.
* To conduct performance and development reviews and undertake relevant training.
* To be aware of and implement all Group policies and procedures.
Operations & Communications
* To help prioritize and allocate tasks to optimize workforce and resource use.
* To minimize costs, maximize sales and gross profit margins while controlling measures in place, including stock, ordering, cash handling and overheads.
* To implement, control and maintain budgets for departments, including labour costs, revenue and overheads.
* To assist departments in utilizing up-to-date methods and best practices to maximize operating efficiencies.
* To attend communication meetings to keep employees updated on products, promotions, events, training, customer complaints and feedback.
* To encourage employee feedback and participation at meetings.
* To communicate decisions, ideas and methods to employees while working alongside them.
* To have effective communication skills with customers and employees and create/maintain appropriate relationships.
* To ensure employees comply with Group dress code and personal protective equipment is provided and used correctly.
* To ensure adequate security measures are in place and maintained, and staff are aware of and compliant with relevant security measures.
