About your team
WI Solutions Office is an unique team of technologists that work closely with business partners to increase productivity of our front office through simplification, automation and risk mitigation. We leverage FIL-approved technologies to automate workflow, standardize process and reduce risk. Our team owns the design, implementation and support for all our solutions - our autonomy is a key differentiator. Solutions Office capabilities include: Digitization for intake, data integration, document generation and automating integration with back office systems. We work in an agile environment and are driven by Fidelity leadership principles of being customer obsessed and strive for pace over perfection.
About your role
The DevOp engineer owns the deployment process. The person ensures application is tested properly and serves as code release manager.
Key Responsibilities
1. Setup and maintain infrastructure
2. Define and set release plan
3. Code validation
4. Assist in automation test plans
5. Maintain CI/CD tools
6. Code release management
7. Incident management
8. Level 2 production support
9. Investigate and resolve technical issues
About you
Technical Skills:
10. Previous experience in a DevOps/Engineering role.
11. Implement "Infrastructure as Code" using Terraform
12. Experience with performing version control and continuous integration of build, deploy, and test, using tools like Jenkins, Stash and uDeploy
13. Experience with AWS Cloud DevOps services such as S3, CloudFront, IAM, VPC, ECS Fargate, Lambda, RDS, Cloudformation
14. Experience with Linux command/system management
15. Experience with automated application build and support using Maven/Ant or other tools
16. Experience with configuration management and infrastructure management systems like Ansible, Chef, Docker, CloudFormation.
17. Experience with supervising systems such as CloudWatch, Datadog/Splunk, ELK stack
18. Basic knowledge of open source platforms (Apache, Tomcat etc.)
