Druids Glen Resort is seeking a Commis Chef to join our dynamic and successful kitchen brigade. The main responsibilities for this role is to assist the kitchen brigade in ensuring we consistently deliver a 5* standard and quality of cuisine to our customers, in a safe and hygienic environment.

1. Competitive Rates: €30,000 - €34,000 per year (DOE)

Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure all food preparation is carried out in accordance with food hygiene procedures.
2. Ensure food is prepared to required standards checking for taste, presentation and quality.
3. Ensure food is served promptly and work is carried out quickly and efficiently to keep up when busy.
4. Ensure all food sent out is correctly garnished.
5. Ensure portion control, preparation and storage methods avoid wastage and keep down costs.
6. Ensure the kitchen and service area are clean, tidy and attractive during service.
7. Ensure all food waste are minimised, recorded and where possible re-used.
8. Perform any other reasonable duties as required by your manager.
9. Work with others to ensure that consumer expectations are understood and exceeded.
10. Be polite, professional and friendly at all times with customers and colleagues.
11. Be prepared to assist colleagues in a willing and positive manner including assisting with other duties as required.
12. Correctly use work equipment, personal protective equipment in accordance with training and instructions provided, reporting any equipment issues to your line manager.
Key Requirements:
1. 1-2 years' experience in a busy kitchen operation.
2. Excellent Knowledge of standards and consistent quality in line with our 5* standards.
3. Ability to work under high pressure.
4. Good Training & recognised chef qualifications.
5. You must be available to work shifts including weekend and bank holidays.
6. Ability to communicate in English language.
