Sleep Physiologist/Technologist - Permanent Contract
The Sleep Service in SVPH has been a leader in the diagnosis and management of sleep disorders in Ireland since it was established in 1996. We take pride in providing state of the art medical expertise to treat patients referred to our purpose built facility which adheres to all international standards of best practice. We are seeking a dedicated and motivated basic grade Sleep Physiologist/Technologist to fill a permanent position within our team.
You will join a dynamic and friendly team of Sleep Physiologists working alongside internationally renowned Sleep Consultants in our innovative sleep service, in one of Ireland's largest acute private hospitals and part of the St Vincents Healthcare group.
You will have the opportunity to develop your skills in diagnosing a wide range of respiratory and non-respiratory sleep disorders.
You will provide education and support to patients on CPAP treatment.
You will be encouraged to participate in a local training program and ongoing CPD will be provided for with access to relevant courses and meetings.
You will be inspired to improve patient outcome as part of a team providing validated healthcare (JCI accredited).

Essential Criteria
You must:
* Hold a degree in Clinical Measurement or equivalent or relevant qualification in Sleep Science or Technology e.g. RPSGT or who have passed the ESRS Examination for expert somnologist/technologist.
* Have good communication skills as the post involves a great deal of contact with patients and with other colleagues.
Desirable Criteria
It Is Desirable For You To
* Have experience in a hospital based Sleep laboratory (in-house training will be provided).
* Have ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
* Have IICMP registration or in the process of registration.
