At Circana, we are fueled by our passion for continuous learning and growth. We seek and share feedback freely, and we celebrate victories both big and small in an environment that is flexible and accommodating to our work and personal lives. We have a global commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion as we believe in the undeniable strength that diversity brings to our business, employees, clients, and communities. Join our inclusive, committed team to be a challenger, own outcomes, and stay curious together.
What will you be doing?
In this role, you will work with POS (point-of-sale) retail data. You will work on a team that will identify product information, attributes, and characteristics needed for trend analysis and update our proprietary software systems accordingly. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality, timeliness, and integrity of the company’s data and products. You will identify, investigate, and edit POS data for assigned categories and/or retailers. You will work closely with a team to deliver collective targets as well as individual objectives.
Job Responsibilities:
* Work in a team that will add and match retailer POS records within the company’s proprietary database based on industry rules.
* Ensure the delivery of quality, timely raw data files, according to production schedules.
* Improve accurate attribute editing and quality data deliveries for assigned categories and the industry.
* Strong focus on achieving set deliverables which include immediate incident reporting and appropriate communication of data issues – seeing them to a successful conclusion.
* Be innovative and curious in your work, always evaluating ways to improve work quality, speed, or practices which improve results.
* Manage multiple categories/retailer assignments, constantly questioning the data and the processes currently in place.
* Foresee and escalate potential issues before they arise and troubleshoot.
* Have a broader awareness and understanding about the implications of any actions taken on our data.
* Foster and demonstrate collaboration, team working, and flexibility to ensure that changing priorities are met.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Marketing, Business, or related field.
* 3-5 years experience preferred in market research or retail environment.
* MS Office knowledge; advanced Excel a plus.
As well as the technical skills, experience, and attributes required for the role, our shared behaviors sit at the core of our organization. We look for people who can continuously champion these behaviors throughout the business:
* Stay Curious: Being hungry to learn and grow, always asking the big questions.
* Seek Clarity: Embracing complexity to create clarity and inspire action.
* Own the Outcome: Being accountable for decisions and taking ownership of our choices.
* Center on the Client: Relentlessly adding value for our customers.
* Be a Challenger: Never complacent, always striving for continuous improvement.
* Champion Inclusivity: Fostering trust in relationships engaging with empathy, respect, and integrity.
* Commit to each other: Contributing to making Circana a great place to work for everyone.
