Office Administrator / Accounts Assistant – Wexford Town
Dunwood is looking for an experienced Office Administrator / Accounts Assistant to join one of our largest and most successful clients—a well-established construction company based in the South East. This is a great opportunity for a highly organized individual to play a key role in the smooth running of the office, ensuring everything runs efficiently and effectively. The position is based in their main office in Wexford Town.
Responsibilities:
* General Office Administration: Provide administrative support to various departments, ensuring all administrative tasks are handled accurately and in a timely manner.
* Communication with Directors and Associates: Be the point of contact for directors, associates, and other team members, helping to facilitate effective communication across the company.
* Managing Invoicing and Data Entry: Handle the invoicing process, ensuring invoices are processed and recorded correctly. Manage data entry with a focus on accuracy and detail.
* Organizing Purchase Orders (POs): Oversee the creation and management of purchase orders, ensuring they align with company processes and are tracked efficiently.
* Ensuring Smooth Day-to-Day Operations: Support the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring it runs smoothly by coordinating activities, handling phone calls, managing office supplies, and assisting with various administrative tasks as required.
Requirements
* Experience: At least two years' experience in a similar office administration or accounts assistant role, ideally within the construction industry or a similar field.
* Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with both internal and external stakeholders.
* Technical Skills: Proficiency in office software (Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, etc.) and experience with invoicing systems or accounting software would be beneficial.
Salary: €45,000 - €50,000, commensurate with experience.
