Champion on-site quality by conducting analysis, presenting and acting on quality data, sampling products, and ensuring manufactured products comply with defined procedures and EN Standards. Investigate customer complaints and implement corrective and preventive actions.
As a Quality Engineer, you will be supporting the company Integrated Management System and WCM programs through audits, identifying continuous improvement activities and using standard problem-solving tools when identifying opportunities for the elimination of waste, increased efficiencies, and improvement of product quality.
As a VIE, your main tasks will include:
Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality:
* Promoting company Health and Safety, Environmental, and Quality Policies in all activities and decisions;
* Ensuring all processes and procedures comply with company standards and regulations;
Operational Excellence:
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams including Production, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to achieve manufacturing targets;
* Applying problem-solving techniques to address issues related to availability, yield, and manufacturing efficiencies;
* Delivering innovative and sustainable solutions as countermeasures to operational challenges;
Process Management and Continuous Improvement:
* Leading and reporting on process manufacturing trials in both the Board Plant and Plaster Mill;
* Developing a comprehensive understanding of best-practice process technology within the plasterboard and plaster industry;
* Implementing industry best practices to enhance operational performance at GYPROC;
* Networking with Group experts in process, energy, quality, and raw materials to drive world-class problem-solving and efficiencies;
Customer Support and Quality Assurance:
* Assisting in the investigation of customer complaints using WCM methodology;
* Ensuring robust and sustainable corrective and preventive actions are established;
Training and Mentoring:
* Participating in the development and delivery of in-company and Group training courses;
* Training employees to increase their process knowledge and technical proficiency;
* Mentoring interns, providing guidance on day-to-day tasks throughout their internship;
Sustainability and Change Management:
* Supporting the business sustainability roadmap by contributing to the design and implementation of increased recycled material consumption;
* Ensuring all process changes follow established Change Management Program guidelines;
Reporting and Data Analysis:
* Collecting, analysing, and presenting data for proposed and completed work, including the generation of monthly summary reports;
Additional Duties:
* Performing other tasks appropriate to the position of Process Engineer as assigned by management.
This is a 12-month mission, extendable once.

* Master's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
* A first experience in manufacturing process optimization and problem-solving activities.
* Familiarity with WCM, Lean methodologies, and data analysis tools; some knowledge of FMEA or PFMEA, or Design of Experiments is also nice to have.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt to various stakeholders.
* Autonomy and ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
* Good level of written English (C1 required).
