**Project Planner Role at GMC Utilities Group**
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Project Planner to join our team. As a key member of our collaborative team, you will be responsible for developing and managing project schedules, coordinating resources, and ensuring that projects are completed on time.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, proficiency in project management software, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders. Key responsibilities will include:
* Developing comprehensive project plans and schedules using industry-standard project management tools.
* Liaising with Project managers regarding project progress, project claims, identifying potential delays, and implementing corrective actions to maintain project timelines.
* Coordinating with project managers, engineers, and other team members to allocate resources effectively.
* Preparing regular progress reports and presenting findings to senior management and clients.
* Analyzing project data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
* Ensuring compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
* Participating in project meetings and providing scheduling insights to support decision-making processes.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A full clean driver's license is essential.
* A qualification in engineering or equivalent is desirable.
* Civils, drainage, or utilities (water & electricity) experience.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Knowledge of Irish utility regulations and standards is a plus.
