OTE €85,000+ The Company: This company is an international leading manufacturer of HVAC solutions for the commercial and manufacturing sectors in Ireland.
They manufacture their products to an impeccably high standard and are renowned globally for their impressive technical solutions and for their after-sales/service-engineer support.
Due to internal promotion they are looking to recruit a new sales manager to their commercial team.
The Role: You will be selling the full range of HVAC solutions to the commercial and manufacturing sectors in Ireland.
Example projects include large apartment complexes, hotels, shopping centers, hospitals, datacentres, and medical/pharma/F+B manufacturing facilities.
You will join a well-established team of sales engineers and focus solely on selling the machinery solutions, whilst the service contracts will be managed by a separate sales team.
This is a technical, solutions-based sale and your key decision-makers will include M+E contractors, consultant engineers, Facility managers, etc.
This is a new business and account management sales role, and you will inherit a well-established client base and begin working on existing projects and tenders.
This is a high-value sales process, and lead times can from 6 months to 2 years.
You must be able to build relationships with key decision-makers and nurture a longer sales process.
This is a field-based role, but you may need to be in the office 1 day per week, for team meetings and admin, etc.
This is a very autonomous role, and the company will give you the freedom to plan and execute your journey planning and sales calls as you see fit.
The Candidate: This is a technical product range and sales process, so you must come from a technical sales background.
Ideally, you will have experience selling HVAC solutions to M+E contractors and consultant engineers.
However, if you have experience selling other product ranges such as pipes, pumps, heating solutions, tanks, generators, engines, plumbing solutions, electrical solutions, etc to the M+E contractors, then this will also be considered.
If you are coming from a service sales background, with experience selling to M+E contractors, this may be a great step for you to break into a more technical product-based sale in a very lucrative market.
Ideally, you will have an engineering background, however, this is not essential however a technical sales background is a must have.
