Operations Project Specialist
The Operations’ Department includes: Materials Management, Logistics, Procurement, Purchasing, Shipping, Receiving, 3PL warehousing, Key Customer Management, and Data Management.
The scope of the Ops Project Specialist therefore includes project management of projects that fall within any function of the Operations Department. The Operations Project Specialist will report to the Sr. Director of Operations, but works cross-functionally with all departments.
This wide breadth of responsibilities requires the operations team to be a key contributor in various special projects. The Operations Project Specialist will interact across departments to help plan, implement, and provide ongoing training for the successful launch of assigned projects. This is in addition to day-to-day operations responsibilities. The breadth of this role will also include extensive document creation of work instructions across department functions.
Location: This role will initially be based in Dublin but will require travel to my clients sites in Limerick, Naas and Portlaoise, depending on projects being worked on.
Duration: Fixed Term Contract 9 months (potential to extend)

Responsibilities:
* Provide administrative support such as data entry, filing, and maintaining records
* Communicate effectively with team members and external partners
* Utilize Internal software for material transactions and record keeping
* Proactively seek alternative methods to deliver the project on time and within budget
* Maintain a high level of professionalism in all interactions
* Support the team with any necessary administrative tasks
* Facilitate cross-channel feedback from customers and employees to management and executive teams
* Work with team leaders, managers and department heads to learn departmental needs and goals
* Observe, review and analyze processes to identify inefficiencies and areas where improvements could be made
* Design and maintain clear operational guides to ensure consistency of operations
* Deliver reports to department heads, management teams and boards of directors to provide insight into the overall efficiency of the organization
* Develop documentation to support the Operations Department and the company as a whole
Ideals:
* Strong communication skills and worked in a similar position previously
* 3-5 years experience in a similar role
* Comfortable communicating to global senior leadership teams
* Hands on mindset but happy to work at desk also, depending on project.
