Working in a busy office environment, you will work within an administration team which is responsible for:
* Answering phone calls and arranging appointments
* Dealing with incoming and outgoing mail
* Managing email queries and appointment requests
* Responding to client requests
* Writing letters or recording medical notes
* Filing and typing up reports
* Scheduling off-site clinics
* Supports physician staff by representing physicians
* Providing personal assistant support to medical staff
* Arranging referrals; billing patients and third-party payers;
* Maintaining office files and patient records.
* Maintaining office supplies inventory by checking stock; anticipating needs; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.
* Keeping office equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
* Maintaining quality results by following and enforcing standards.
* Enhancing physician office reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Essential Experience Includes:
* Previous administrative experience
* Organised with strong time management skills
* Good report writing skills
* Excellent telephone manner
* Strong typing
* Business acumen
* Works well within a team environment
