Position: Social Care Support Worker
Location: Wicklow, Ireland
Attuned Programmes Ireland is an organization responding to meet the needs of individuals through community, residential, and aftercare supports and services. We are looking for highly motivated Social Care Support Workers to join our teams.
We are currently recruiting for Full-time and Part-time positions for our Adult Community Residential Mental Health service in Wicklow. Our aim is to support individuals where they are at and to identify and navigate towards positive outcomes in a safe and respectful manner that takes account of their individual needs.
General Job Description
The successful candidates will be dedicated and highly motivated; they will possess high levels of competence and will be able to demonstrate this through their qualification and experience in meeting regulatory requirements, best practice standards, and an understanding of the varied needs of each individual. The role is to support individuals in developing self-care and independent living skills while helping them to develop and reach their goals.
Requirements
* Minimum QQI LEVEL 5 qualification in Health Care and/or Social Care or relevant equivalency.
* Knowledge of best practices in Residential Centres.
* Proficient communication skills, IT skills, report writing, and planning skills.
* This post is subject to Garda clearance.
* A full driving licence is desirable but not essential.
* Commitment to each individual's rights and protection and enjoyment of working in a dynamic environment.
* Legal right to work in Ireland without restriction.
