About the Team
AWS Incident Tooling & Response team is building systems to ensure these AWS customers can rely on the highest-availability, lowest-latency cloud platform on the planet.
Key Responsibilities:
* Build world-class user interfaces for our customers
* Detect and mitigate operational issues before they impact customers
Requirements
* Strong background in building web applications using current technologies such as HTML5, JavaScript and CSS
* Experience with web-UI frameworks like jQuery, React, Flux etc.
* Working with Web Services, JSON, Apache/Tomcat services is desired
Preferred Qualifications:
* Proficiency in Java, C/C++/C# or another high-level programming language & experience with JavaScript, HTML and CSS
* Experience with common front-end technologies, such as React, Angular, Webpack, Babel, and Grunt.
* Experience of front-end test frameworks such as Jest with Enzyme, Mocha, Jasmine.
* A solid grasp of fundamental algorithms and applications.
* Working knowledge of distributed systems and a willingness to jump in and learn what is happening in the back-end code.
* Working knowledge of Node.js.
