Job Description:
As M&E Resident Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the mechanical and electrical aspects of water projects in County Meath.
Key Responsibilities:
* Specialise in Mechanical & Electrical elements of the works.
* Drive delivery of projects on site, focusing on health & safety, time management, cost control, and quality standards.
* Ensure compliance with contract documents, specifications, and testing requirements.
* Monitor and report on works progress to Employer's Requirements.
* Implement Uisce Éireann's safety policies and standards on construction projects.
* Review and comment on project/site specific HSQE documentation.
* Monitor compliance with contract health and safety requirements.
* Carry out weekly documented health and safety site reviews.
* Report and assist with accident investigations and corrective actions.
Desired Qualifications:
* At least 7 years' postgraduate experience in site supervision, contract administration, and project management of MEICA works.
* Degree in a related discipline, such as Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
* Knowledge of civil engineering works, design build operate projects, and project management.
* Strong knowledge and experience of Health and Safety procedures and regulations.
* Current and valid SafePass card and Confined Spaces training.
You will also require excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work within a team at all times.
