Reservations Agent – Clayton Hotel Burlington Road
We have a fantastic new vacancy for a Reservations Agent in the iconic Clayton Hotel Burlington Road.
Ideally located within Dublin City Centre, 15 minutes from St Stephen’s Green. With 502 guest bedrooms, this role would ideally suit an Experienced Receptionist or Hotel Reservation's Agent looking to move to a larger property.
Reporting to the Reservations & Revenue Manager, the Reservations Agent will be the main point of contact for our guests. It is of utmost importance that the reservations department presents a friendly and professional manner at all times. As a Reservations Agent, you will act as the main point of contact for guest bookings for bedrooms and car park, dealing with queries and cross-selling of our other properties.

Key duties and responsibilities:
* Opera knowledge is desirable.
* To ensure all bookings are entered into the PMS correctly and that all guest requests are met and communicated to the relevant departments.
* To have a friendly and welcoming phone manner.
* Ensure smooth communication between all departments.
* Ensure that day-to-day tasks are carried out efficiently and in line with the departmental standards.
* Observe GDPR and PCI standards.
* Respond to guest enquiries and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
* Monitor and manage hotel occupancy and rate at all times.
* Send new leads to the sales team.
Requirements:
* 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role or within a Reception or Reservations role.
* Excellent customer care skills.
* Excellent command of the English language, both written and oral, is essential.
* Ability to perform during high-volume periods of the business.
* Highly motivated and a team player.
