The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the drawing register and assisting the Quality, Health & Safety, Engineering and any project teams with up-to-date existing drawings, walkdowns, snagging and handover approvals. Reporting to the Site Maintenance Manager. Key Responsibilities:Work with engineering and production managers to create and update 2D/3D P&IDs and engineering drawings using AutoCAD.Be part of small project teams to update any changes completed in house.Manage and support any external company contracted to update/generate P&IDs and snag accordingly.Review drawings regularly to ensure all are up to date and current.Walkdown and snagging of any project handovers/P&ID packs at final stages of projects.Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all work.Create and maintain a controlled drawing and documentation storage system allowing all users access to non-editable PDF versions of all documents.Review and check existing drawings and help bring in a system of change control to stop drawings being outdated with uncaptured modifications.Collaborate with Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety to ensure all layouts required are up to date and audit ready including BRC, ATEX/HAZOP and LOTOs.Get involved with internal projects and generate works drawings and complete walkdowns and snagging of same.Take all handover packages from larger projects and snag P&IDs, drawings and other associated items and incorporate them into the document control system.Work with the engineering department to generate any required machining drawings and store any supplier drawings in the correct location.Import asset part drawings to the PEMAC (CMMS) system to allow easy access.Carry out works in accordance with Business Excellence Processes.Minimum 2 years’ experience in piping design using AutoCAD 2/3D.Engineering Qualification with experience of drawing/modifying drawings using AutoCAD 2/3D.Familiarity with hygienic piping manufacturing design and plant layout would be advantageous.Experience with Plant 3D and/or Plant P&ID desirable.Knowledge of ATEX regulations would be beneficial.Strong organisational skills/multi-tasking ability.Excellent attention to detail.Effective communication skills.Ability to work in a fast paced, highly regulated environment.
