Job Description
Our client, a highly acclaimed world leader in Logistics, multi-award-winning company and celebrated as a Great place to Work, is looking to hire an experienced HR Generalist.
The HR Generalist is responsible for all HR administration throughout the employee lifecycle from New Starter to Leaver including but not limited to; Induction, new hire paperwork, compliance, performance management, recognition and all other ad hoc duties up to employee offboarding.
Main duties
1. Responsibility for leading and supporting as appropriate, a range of programs covering all aspects of Human Resources.
2. Responsible for all HR administration throughout the employee lifecycle from New Starter to Leaver including but not limited to; preparation of contracts, statements of employments, social welfare form completion, exit interviews and leaver documentation.
3. Lead/support as appropriate the recruitment, selection and onboarding of employees at all levels of the organisation in line with the resource needs of the operation.
4. Support the ongoing administration of key compensation & benefit arrangements e.g. pension documentation and employee recognition program.
5. Be the first connection of support to all departments and business units on HR data, employee relations issues and general HR support.
6. Responsible for the coordination of various HR/business initiatives, e.g. HR projects.
7. Support the Health and Wellbeing Initiative, partnering with external providers and coordinating and promoting events.
8. Main point of contact between recruitment agencies and their onsite employees to manage the HR issues in relation to their staff.
9. Lead and demonstrate corporate social responsibility through both corporate and local initiatives.
10. Collaborate with the L&D partner to manage all elements of compliance, and associated database, and vetting requirements to meet our regulatory commitments.
11. Work with the HR team to execute a best practice HR service model.
Skills & experience
1. Minimum 1 years’ experience in a similar role.
2. HR field of study or similar.
3. Experience of working in a fast-paced environment.
4. Strong client service orientation with excellent communication skills and relationship building skills.
5. Proven exposure to quality employee relations, performance management and talent management agendas.
6. Advanced comfort level with software programs such as PowerPoint and Excel, MS Suite.
7. Proven experience in HRIS systems/packages.
8. Committed, hardworking and proactive approach.
9. Ability to multi-task with excellent problem-solving skills, prioritisation, and adaptability.
10. Personal accountability, discretion, and integrity.
11. Strong team player.
12. Self-starter with the ability to work on own initiative with minimum supervision.
Salary: €40,000 – €42,000
