About the Job
The Driver & Appliance Installer role involves delivering and installing products in customers' homes, interacting with customers, and providing outstanding service that makes Harvey Norman a great place to shop.
This is a white glove in-home delivery/installation operation that requires:
* Delivery of appliances from our warehouse or store to customers' homes
* Installation of appliances
* Removal of old appliances
* POD Management/EPODING (contactless delivery)
* Communication with customers and office teams daily
* Ensuring vehicle safety checks are completed daily and reporting any issues
You will be an ambassador for the Harvey Norman brand and Install/Delivery service, adhering to our policies and procedures at all times.
About You
We are looking for someone with:
* Experience handling washing machines, fridge freezers, TVs, etc.
* Knowledge of hardware tools and electrical equipment
* Experience with electrical, plumbing, or carpentry
* Basic understanding of electrical and plumbing systems
* Good communication skills and experience as a handyman or maintenance worker
* A basic knowledge of the greater Dublin area is desirable
* Well-organized and adept at problem-solving
* Flexible and willing to go the extra mile to exceed customers' expectations
You should possess excellent attention to detail, telephone skills, and customer orientation. Effective communication and listening skills are also essential.
