Project Worker The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of assessments, keyworking, case management and groupwork.
They will maintain an active caseload.
Chrysalis Community Drug Project CLG wishes to recruit for the following position:Project WorkerHours: 35 hours per weekThe successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of Chrysalis services.
They will ensure that the needs of our service users are efficiently and effectively met enabling them to move through the recovery process.
The position will be based in Dublin City Centre.
This position is a permanent position - after completing a minimum 6-month probation period and verification of references and may be subject to Garda clearances.
Duties will include but not exclusively:
Assess service users' needs, including assessing level of drug and/or alcohol use to enable development of appropriate support using the HSE Comprehensive Needs Assessment ToolMaintain an active caseload and all related record keeping (HRB/eCASS)Provide crisis intervention, keyworking, case management and group workCo-facilitate groupsMaintain all relevant documentation Attend and participate in relevant case management/interagency meetings Attend training as requiredAttend monthly individual supervision and quarterly group supervisionUndertake other duties as and when requested.
The professional qualifications and experience required are as follows:
A minimum of a Level 7 qualification or Third Level qualification in the field of addiction, rehabilitation, social care and/or equivalent would be essentialMinimum of 3-year experience of working within a community-based addiction/homeless/rehabilitation service would be necessarySubstantial experience of interagency and multi-disciplinary workThe successful candidate must be able to clearly demonstrate excellent communication, listening and reporting skills.
The candidate must have excellent I.T.
skills, and ensure that all records, policies and procedures are kept in line with GDPR and good practice guidelines.
They will have an excellent knowledge of boundaries and confidentiality.
Experience in eCASS/HRB would be an advantage
