We are seeking a skilled and experienced Assistant Construction Foreman to join our team and contribute to the successful delivery of an apartment building in Harolds Cross project. The Assistant Construction Foreman will work alongside the site manager in overseeing on-site construction activities, coordinating the work of the construction crew, and ensuring the project progresses according to plan.
Responsibilities:
* Assist the site manager to supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the construction crew, subcontractors, and suppliers.
* Ensure that all work is performed according to project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
* Monitor the use of equipment, tools, and materials, ensuring their proper and efficient utilization.
* Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential issues, ensure compliance, and maintain a safe working environment.
* Address and resolve any construction-related problems or conflicts that may arise during the project.
* Collaborate with the site manager to develop and implement construction schedules and plans.
* Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure the timely delivery of materials and services.
* Manage and maintain inventory levels of construction materials, equipment, and tools.
* Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any deficiencies or deviations from project requirements.
* Promote a culture of safety, adhering to all relevant safety regulations and best practices.
* Identify potential hazards and implement preventive measures to mitigate risks.
* Liaise with the site manager, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and coordination.
* Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication.
