On behalf of a newly established Property Management firm in Dublin city centre, we are looking to hire a Senior Accountant.Working alongside the Finance Director, the Senior Accountant will have indirect responsibility for 2 part-qualified Accounts Assistants, overseeing their work an ensuring their timeline and accurate completion of work, including AP/ AR, accounts preparation, etc. Additional responsibilities will include;Preparation and review of monthly and quarterly management accounts and reports.Assist in the coordination of the annual audit with external auditors on all property related matters.Assist in the preparation of corporation tax returns and liaising with external tax advisers.Assist the Finance Director with preparation of annual property budgets.Building relationships with various stakeholders including Development Managers, Property Managers, Asset Managers, etc.Support adhoc projects as they arise.RequirementsBachelors or advanced degree from an accredited college or university.ACA/ ACCA/CIMA qualification with c. 3 years’ post qualified experience.Previous real estate/ property mgmt. industry experience preferred.Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, with excellent excel skills.Proficient in the use of accounting software (Yardi experience highly advantageous).Ability to demonstrate excellent attention to detail and organisation, good judgement, showing logical decision-making and have a hands-on approach.BenefitsThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accountant/ Senior Accountant to join a close-knit team with excellent exposure to the Finance Director and Managing Director.Our client offers a 3&2 hybrid working policy, with flexibility around working hours.
