With a mixture of in-person and hybrid working, we are looking for someone to make amazing things happen within our team.
The Digital Marketing Specialist will have full responsibility for ensuring that the day to day online digital marketing calendar is executed in a clear and concise manner. The candidate will also have autonomy for owning all paid search, display & affiliate programmes to make sure the company is continually targeting its preferred audience driving traffic and seeing strong ROI.
This is a role where the individual will need to take leadership, ownership and demonstrate excellent organisational and communication skills. This individual will need to work independently finding opportunities in the market and not be afraid to challenge performance.
Role overview: As part of this role, you'll be responsible for:
Serving as the primary point of contact for the execution of the eCommerce promotional calendar and managing partnerships with suppliers.
Managing the channel marketing budget and expenses, analysing and reporting progress against campaign goals, track market and channel trends while being prepared to adjust channel strategies when necessary.
Taking ownership of the current PPC and display ad campaigns and work independently with external agencies/partners to make sure our campaigns are fully optimised.
Building relationships with affiliate partners and explore new opportunities while also building out ROI models.
Displaying proficiency with analytics applications such as Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics.
Engaging with internal business units to identify commercial opportunities for incremental growth and feed these opportunities to our external partners.
Assisting the eCommerce Manager with delivery of marketing development initiatives as required. Also, taking on and leading additional local development projects as instructed by leadership.
Being proactive in execution planning for product launches and pre-orders per promotional calendar.
Displaying a genuine interest in technology and eCommerce. Being an early adopter in terms of gaining knowledge of industry innovations.
KPI’s
Taking ownership of all PPC & affiliate partners to make sure that ROI is benefiting the company, measurements of success include ROAS (PROAS), CPA, Conversion % etc.
Correlation between improvement in customer journey and conversion rate/revenue increases on project areas.
Ability to be flexible with business requirements in terms of temporary role focus. i.e. upweighted effort over our busiest periods and assisting other departments where able.
You will need:
Excellent knowledge: Google Ads, Analytics, Google Trends, Affiliate platforms/agencies.
Experience in managing and running PPC Campaigns.
Experience in working with third party marketing agencies.
Experience with tools such as Google Tag Manager and Adobe Launch Tag Manager.
Leadership skills, critical thinking and ability to own projects.
To be ambitious, self-motivated and bring a passion to the role every day.
To be able to problem solve and have the will to find resolutions.
At least 3 years' experience within a Digital Marketing / eCommerce function.
High proficiency in Analytics applications and excel (e.g. Adobe Analytics & Google Analytics).
