Our client, a luxury five-star hotel based in Kilkenny, is looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to join their team.
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
To work closely with the Director of Sales and Marketing, to create and deliver the Digital Marketing Strategy for the Hotel.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Manage digital advertising campaigns, including pay-per-click (PPC), display advertising and PMAX to drive traffic and conversions. Monitor advertising budgets and ROI, adjusting strategies as needed for optimal performance.
2. Manage and grow the hotel’s presence on key social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn) to build a strong online community.
3. Create and implement social media campaigns to promote overnight stays and promotions.
4. Maintenance of the hotel website. Optimise and update content to improve search engine rankings.
5. Develop engaging and compelling content for the hotel’s website, social media platforms, and other digital channels.
6. Develop and execute targeted email marketing campaigns to engage with existing and potential guests.
7. Manage business listings on OTAs and partners to promote the hotel.
8. Assist in the development and creation of new hotel printed and digital brand collateral across the hotel.
9. Utilise analytics tools to track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) for all digital marketing efforts.
10. Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging digital marketing technologies to ensure the hotel’s competitiveness in the market.
11. Flexibility to support departments as requested.
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in digital marketing, preferably within the luxury hospitality industry.
3. Familiarity with Luxury Branding.
4. Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, tools, and best practices.
5. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
6. Experience with WordPress is preferable.
7. Proficiency in SEO, SEM, social media advertising, and email marketing.
8. Creative thinking and a keen eye for design aesthetics.
9. Analytical mind-set with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
