The Job:
Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join a high-tech manufacturing company in Newbridge that has significant investment and growth plans for their highly automated contract manufacturing site.
They are currently looking to recruit a permanent Maintenance Fitter for their facility on shifts. The plant manufacturing processes consist of high-tech electrical, robotic, and mechanical production lines and include product making, injection molding, and packing. The Maintenance Fitters work within multi-skilled teams leading the day-to-day problem-solving, planned maintenance programme, standards documentation, and continuous improvement in a high-speed, agile environment.
Job Responsibilities:
* Support Manufacturing operations to deliver our Safety, Quality, and throughput objectives.
* Drive a systemic approach to loss elimination and build increasing capability in the Manufacturing teams against existing and revised standards.
* Support the maintenance team in identifying and implementing cost-reduction programmes.
* Lead the planned maintenance work every week.
* Provide support for the introduction of new products and processes within our Manufacturing Operations.
Job Requirements:
* FAStime served mechanical apprenticeship or equivalent.
* Minimum 3 Years Experience in a High Tech Manufacturing Environment.
* Experience with Packaging equipment is desirable but not essential.
* Have excellent troubleshooting ability with a track record of root cause identification.
* Strong Communication Skills and work well as part of a Team.
