Our client, a global leader in temperature-controlled logistics exclusively serving the life sciences industry, is seeking a Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to head up its new Irish operation.
The Role & Responsibilities:
As CCO, you will lead the company's commercial strategies for Ireland, driving business growth and building a high-performing commercial operations team.
* Develop and execute a comprehensive commercial strategy to drive revenue growth and market expansion in the life sciences sector.
* In conjunction with the Business Development team, secure new business opportunities and establish long-term strategic client partnerships.
* Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on customer needs and service delivery.
* Analyse market trends and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities and potential risks.
* Create and manage organisational budgets and monitor KPIs to track performance.
* Represent the organization at industry events and conferences to enhance visibility and establish connections.
* Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and partners to drive long-term business success.
We are looking for someone with:
* 8-10+ years of experience in commercial/operations/site lead role within the logistics/supply chain sector.
* Experience in temperature-controlled or cold chain logistics would be a major advantage.
* Experience working in, or working with clients from, the life sciences or related sectors would be a major advantage.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* A strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a passion for the life sciences sector.
The Offer:
The salary and benefits package will be negotiated at a senior leadership/executive level to reflect the significant complexities and responsibilities of this role.
Although the operation will be based in Shannon, Co. Clare, the role can be office-based, hybrid, or primarily remote (within Ireland) to suit the incoming candidate.
Candidates without full eligibility to live and work in Ireland on a permanent basis will not be considered.
