Senior Occupational Therapist – Community-Based (Thurles/Templemore) – Full-Time, Temporary
Are you an experienced and dedicated Senior Occupational Therapist looking to make a real impact in the community? We are seeking a passionate professional to join our team, providing high-quality occupational therapy services in the Thurles/Templemore area.
The Role:
In this full-time, temporary position, you will work within a dynamic multidisciplinary team, delivering person-centred interventions to support individuals in maintaining independence and improving their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and implement evidence-based occupational therapy interventions.
- Work collaboratively with service users, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Promote independence in daily living activities through tailored therapy programmes.
- Provide education, training, and advice to clients and caregivers.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to service development.
Requirements:
- A degree in Occupational Therapy and current CORU registration.
- A minimum of three years' post-graduate experience.
- Experience working within a community setting is desirable.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
- A full, clean driving licence and access to transport is essential.
