Project Engineer
Overview of the Role:
The Project Engineer will be responsible for coordinating, overseeing, and managing medium-sized projects on a brownfield site in Co. Wicklow.
Key Responsibilities:
* Developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with client stakeholders and vendor contractors.
* Establishing project objectives in line with client requirements and ensuring goals and timelines are achieved.
* Execution of projects via the client's Quality and Management systems.
* Responsible for projects' technical and commercial delivery.
* Develop project scope requirements.
* Implement an appropriate project execution strategy.
* Determine project resource requirements and lead/motivate the project team.
* Ensure compliance with local statutory and regulatory obligations.
* Develop and maintain project budgets.
* Manage development of project plans with a focus on achieving project goals.
* Provide performance updates/reports to identify variances and implement corrective action.
* Liaise with Senior management on regular project performance status.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in the Project Management of capital projects from design through to construction and commissioning.
* An excellent record in Health & Safety.
* A third-level degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar field is preferred.
* Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills are essential, along with a good understanding/experience of project controls & governance throughout the full project lifecycle.
* An advanced qualification in Project Management (ideally).
