Job Description
We are looking for a Full Time Food Team Lead to include opening and/or closing duties of the Avoca Dunboyne Foodhall, cafe, and/or store assisting with day-to-day running of the department, and supporting the management team in a variety of different ways. Experience required. 5 days over 7.
The Food Team Lead's responsibilities include cash handling, cash reconciliation, assisting in running the daily employee breaks, customer service queries, and supporting the management team in various capacities. The ideal candidate should have experience within the hospitality or food industry and have a proven track record of seeking responsibility.
Responsibilities
1. Opening and/or Closing of your Department as outlined by your manager
2. Cash Handling & Processes
3. Supporting & Leading the food team
4. Daily Task Planning of Department
5. Cash Reconciliation
6. Customer Service queries including dealing with complaints
7. Ordering processes for the store
8. Provide general support to the management team
9. Ad hoc duties as required
Requirements
1. Proven track record of seeking responsibility
2. Excellent customer service skills
3. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
4. Reliable and flexible in their approach to work
5. Previous experience in a similar role an advantage
6. Experience in a busy cafe or restaurant environment
