We are currently looking for a Bar Person to join our team at The Lodge at Ashford Castle.
Key responsibilities of the Bar Person will include:
1. Warmly welcome guests into the Bar ensuring a warm, welcoming, and friendly demeanour at all times.
2. Ensure the bar is always fully stocked and ready for service (prepare mis en place) adhering to set standards.
3. Keep the Bar area clean and tidy at all times and adhere to cleaning schedules.
4. Be responsible for the professional dispensing and serving of drink, with the minimum of fuss or delay.
5. Learn, fully understand, and accurately describe all drinks on the menus to answer guests’ questions correctly and without delay.
The ideal candidate for the Bar Person position will:
1. Enjoy working within a friendly and productive team.
2. Have previous experience within a similar role.
3. Have excellent communication skills.
4. Be legally eligible to work in Ireland.
5. Have strong attention to detail.
6. Have a friendly, bubbly, and flexible attitude.
7. Have the ability to handle busy situations and manage workload effectively.
