Job Description
Our client, a leading global IT service provider,is recruiting for a Digital Power Service Engineer to join their business inIreland.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide pre-sales testing support and hold workshops on technical issues with the customers or partners
2. Support of the sales and solution team
3. Logging of issues reported by the customers
4. Training/guidance of the customers before, during, and after the construction process using kick-off meetings, hardware and software training, and the acceptance test
5. Support customers during commissioning, technically check the inverter installation, and make necessary corrections
6. You are the interface between the customers and the R&D team to resolve any issue
7. Responsible for second and third-line support
8. Responsible for technical support of customers or their partners, independently or with a technical support team
9. On-site support in case of major or critical issues that cannot be resolved by the customer or local subcontractor
10. Responsible for monitoring the quality of the on-site operation, providing quality analyses and improvement processes
Requirements:
11. With a science or engineering education background, majoring in electricity, energy or mechanical engineering, etc.
12. Have technical and service working experience and channel management experience
13. Knowledgeable or working experience in the solar PV market/storage market is preferable
14. Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to build strong relationships with partners and internally with people from different countries and cultures
15. Ability to have insight into problems
16. Project operation skills
