EU Mechanical Engineer Rotation Opportunity
A reputable M&E Contractor seeks a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join their team on various Data Centre and Pharmaceutical projects in Denmark.
Responsibilities:
* Develop comprehensive mechanical system designs (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection) that meet project requirements while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
* Oversee preconstruction activities, including health & safety, technical submissions, construction drawings, and project commissioning.
* Conduct site inspections, monitor progress, and ensure installations meet quality standards and regulatory compliance.
* Manage procurement for mechanical packages and coordinate plant package reviews with the Procurement Manager.
* Collaborate with project teams to maintain schedules and deliver high-quality service.
* Coordinate mechanical services and builders work drawings with the Site/Project Manager.
* Oversee document control, including drawings, RFIs, Tech Sub Logs, schedules, and QA Packs.
* Support commissioning, subcontractor coordination, and certification uploads.
Requirements:
* A degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
* At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
* Experience working with an M&E contractor in the UK or Ireland is essential.
* Experience on Data Centres or Pharmaceutical builds would be ideal.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
* The successful candidate must be currently residing in Ireland or the UK and eligible to work without the need for a permit.
