Assistant Accountant Our client a leading Professional Services company based in Dublin city centre are currently recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to join their team. This is initially being offered as 12-month contract and offers a hybrid work arrangement and the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities: Billing: oProcess and reconcile invoices for all fee-earning departments. oEnsure accurate VAT calculations and timely payments. oCollaborate with various teams to clarify billing rules and regulations. oAssist with time recording and WIP/AR reconciliations. oProcess reversal, reprint, and write-off forms as required. oMaintain the billing mailbox and promptly address all queries. Accounts Payable: oPrepare and set up payments for bi-monthly payment runs. oReconcile credit card transactions and process monthly payments. oEnsure supplier accounts are reconciled and payments are up-to-date. oPerform monthly reconciliations for intercompany and other vendor accounts. oPost AP invoices and employee expenses to the system in a timely manner. oLoad disbursements to the system daily. oMonitor supplier balances to ensure sufficient funds. Bank: oPrepare daily client account and weekly office account reconciliations. oAttend the bank for lodgements. oPost cash receipts and payments daily. oVerify and set up new payees on the banking system.
