Content Manager Role Summary
The Content Manager develops and implements the overall content marketing strategy for The Village from ideation to creation, distribution, and evaluation. The role requires collaboration with the Marketing Director to achieve the company's content goals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the Content team, oversee their performance, and develop them professionally.
* Work closely with Functional Heads, Digital Brand Strategist, and Marketing Analyst to define the department's overarching strategy, highlight key performance indicators (KPIs), and enrich performance analysis.
* Collaborate with Digital Brand Strategist, Marketing Analyst, and Copywriters to amplify digital omnichannel strategies, develop clear and effective content strategies, and create overarching plans.
* Assist the Brand Creative team in developing their creative vision, ensuring they have a comprehensive understanding of relevant content for single-purchase value-driving audiences across channels.
* Ensure the right content is distributed through the appropriate channels, considering relevance and target audience.
* Work closely with wider marketing teams and key stakeholders to capture and implement content requirements for each department and relevant channels.
* Manage the Content Calendar effectively.
* Maximise content impact and performance for each target audience, amplifying brand and product storytelling.
* Utilize all available channels, including TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram Reels, Stories, and In-feed, as well as the website, to ensure maximum creative usage.
* Collaborate with each channel head to develop clear content plans aligning with the omnichannel content strategy and target audiences.
* Present omnichannel content strategies for each campaign period, ensuring alignment with the team's vision and central direction.
* Work closely with the Content Director to identify new content creation needs and ensure that all channel requirements are incorporated into the content creation process to maximise delivery and performance of targeted High Net Worth (HNW) content.
* Follow the content creation process to ensure all requirements are met for each channel and adhere to the Brand Creative vision and overarching content strategy.
* Prepare content packs for each channel head to enable implementation of content plans once assets are available post-production.
* Analyse content performance across all channels with the Digital Brand Strategist, Marketing Analyst, and Performance Director, developing future content strategies and plans to increase resonance, engagement, and conversion with target HNW audiences.
* Develop new creative brief templates for the wider marketing team to ensure clarity, consistency, and efficiency for the content team.
* Provide clear updates to each team on the creative direction developed for their projects, ensuring clarity on created content and providing lead times for content creation.
* Review the performance of each content item and provide insights for improvement.
* Ensure all creative content is approved by the brands before circulating to channel heads.
* Prepare regular analysis of content performance.
* Collaborate with Copywriters and guest editors to involve them in Brand and Creative briefs and provide the correct lead time to create assets.
* Manage the process from concept to delivery to channels to performance.
About You
We are seeking an individual with the following experience and skills:
* Degree education or equivalent qualifications is advantageous.
* B2B experience and social media expertise to drive traffic are bonuses.
* High proficiency in Microsoft Office, knowledge of Photoshop or Indesign is beneficial.
* Comfortable using a suite of reporting tools to measure and optimise content, utilising data to continually improve content.
* Experience producing creative content for socially led brands engaging consumers.
* Experience managing and segmenting email campaigns.
* Strong digital and partnership knowledge.
* Strong administrative skills, highly organised with the ability to coordinate others, ensuring deadlines are met and managed effectively.
