We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Lab Systems Support Engineer to join our Quality Control team. The Lab Systems Support Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring reliability and compliance of Laboratory Systems. The Lab System Support Engineer will be responsible for managing the day-to-day issues that arise on the validated Analytical Laboratory Systems.
Responsibilities:
* Maintain the incident ticket queue and manage & resolve issues as they arise in a timely manner.
* Provide support for Maintenance and User Administration of local Laboratory applications, including Periodic System Reviews and System Audit Trail Reviews.
* Troubleshoot system errors and collaborate with vendor/global teams for resolution.
* Act as the main point of contact on site for Laboratory System Helpdesk, interacting with Global system teams or system vendors on various system issues.
* Provide appropriate system access to vendors.
* Support system content deployment and end-user training.
* Display a high level of integrity in the performance of work, recognizing the importance of the quality control function in pharmaceutical production.
* Join the on-call support rota for Lab Services supporting the site lab systems 24/7.
* Experience supporting QC laboratory systems is preferred but not essential.
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems (Windows 7 & Windows Server 2003/2008).
* Strong problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
* Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
* Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment.
* Flexibility to perform all other job-related and ad-hoc duties as required.
* Experience in the Pharmaceutical industry is an advantage.
