Annabeg Nursing Home, part of Trinity Care Group, a well-respected, multi-award-winning Nursing Home Group, is located in Ballybrack, Co. Dublin and forms part of the international DomusVi Group.
We provide private residential, convalescent, and rehabilitative care in our purpose-built Nursing Homes. Our centres are situated in Dublin, Meath, Louth, Kildare, Kilkenny, and Cavan.

Skills, Knowledge & Qualifications
You must have a:
* Genuine interest in working within a caring environment.
* Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.

* FETEC/NFQ 5 or equivalent and a willingness to participate in training and development.
Main Responsibilities:
Care:
* Maintain the highest levels of care by supporting/assisting clients with washing, toileting, dressing, undressing, and daily living needs.
* Assist clients with all aspects of their care requirements (physical, emotional, and spiritual) while ensuring their comfort and dignity.
* Prioritize assisting clients with limited mobility or physical/disability difficulties, utilizing aids provided when necessary.
* Closely monitor clients with confusion or behavioral issues.
* Contribute to promoting continence among clients.
* Support clients who are dying or have a progressive illness, including last office procedures.
* Participate in social activities by interacting with clients and encouraging them to continue hobbies and interests in the care centre.
* Respond to nurse calls, providing assistance as required. Answer doors and telephones appropriately, responding promptly to messages.
* Under supervision, report on clients' wellbeing to senior care staff.
* Perform regular checks on clients at intervals determined by senior staff members.
* Welcome visitors, providing refreshments or assistance as needed.
* Ensure rooms are clean and tidy, making beds, and disposing of waste in line with the Nursing Home's policies.
* Use resources efficiently and maintain equipment used by clients, relatives, and staff.
* Clean and maintain the Nursing Home, adhering to attention to detail principles.
* Respect clients' clothing and personal belongings, recording and labeling items accordingly.
* Maintain full privacy and dignity for the dying and bereaved, following company policies and procedures.
* Assist clients during meal times, being aware of swallowing difficulties and dietary requirements.
* Escort clients on outings, hospital visits, or other trips, ensuring their safety and comfort.
* Maintain integrity in dealings with clients' personal and financial affairs, avoiding exploitation of the privileged relationship.
