Purpose of the Role: K2 is seeking a Technical Programme Manager to ensure the successful operation, maintenance, and repair of all critical environment systems while always maintaining 100% uptime to all critical power systems on site.
Responsibilities: Manage large, complex initiatives, delivering critical solutions, significant improvements, new mechanisms, or deprecating systems that require lifecycle replacement, working with multiple teams in and/or across organizations.Accountable for the overall strategy of large programs and manage all stages (from concept to delivery).Understand the architecture of the systems and influence team technical priorities and business strategy through data-driven contributions, training, and drills.Make a case for project priorities and resource allocation to achieve desired business outcomes, resolve architecture deficiencies, or unblock delivery.Communicate ideas effectively, verbally and in writing, to a wide range of audiences including Senior Managers, Leadership, and Customers.Foster constructive dialogue, harmonize discordant views, and lead the resolution of contentious issues (build consensus) while partnering with customers, stakeholders, and engineering teams.Drive crisp decisions in your program area about what projects move forward and in what priority order; proactively identify risks and bring them to the attention of your team and stakeholders with plans for mitigation before they become roadblocks.Be a simplifier to judiciously add, refine, and remove procedures.Build good working relationships with engineers, managers, and peers, recognizing discordant views and engaging in constructive dialogue to resolve them.Own, gather data, write, deliver, and present project and business-related reports on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc basis, ensuring written communication is of the highest quality with minimal feedback required.Adhere to all quality, health & safety, and environmental policies within the domain.Preferred Experience: Bachelor's in Electrical or Critical Facilities Maintenance & Management10 years minimum total working experience and 3-5 years in a data centre environment2-3 years in an operation supervisory and team management roleProficiency in MS Office (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
