We are now recruiting for an experienced Pastry Chef to join our team.
Job Overview:
To provide menus of the highest standards with the use of approved ingredients in a cost-effective manner. To be responsible for maintaining a comprehensive hygiene programme to ensure all kitchen colleagues observe a proper system of hygiene; food preparation and storage.
Main Duties:
1. To prepare all ingredients for service for allocated section to the required standard, ensuring no wastage.
2. To cook food to the required specifications.
3. To ensure the smooth running of food service within all food and beverage outlets.
4. To ensure the HACCP system is in place and operating successfully.
5. To ensure all dishes are prepared in a timely fashion and to the appropriate standard.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Pastry Chef
2. Familiar with industry's best practice
3. Excellent team player
4. Flexibility
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
