Caseworker role available between our Turas Nua offices in Kilkenny and Carlow. The position involves working on-site, Monday to Friday, from 09:00 to 17:00.

Turas Nua is a provider of employment support services, delivering the IPNES contract. We work with individuals who are unemployed or employed part-time, offering intensive, targeted, and personalized support to help them gain sustainable employment.
Purpose of Role
As a caseworker, you will manage a caseload of clients referred by the Department of Social Protection to IPNES. You will coordinate internal support specialists and external organizations to provide a tailored support service to each client, helping them achieve employment goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement a case management plan for each client, focusing on sustainable employment.
* Use assessment technology to identify client goals, ambitions, and barriers to employment.
* Recognize hidden motivations and conflicts when assessing job-readiness, addressing these with appropriate support and interventions.
* Provide coaching and mentoring, including intensive job search support for job-ready clients.
* Identify, structure, and recommend training solutions to meet client learning needs.
* Fast-track job-ready clients for immediate job interviews brokered by Employer Services consultants.
* Maintain knowledge of the local labour market and organize daily schedules.
* Work with specialist services to assist clients in their employment journey.
Person Profile
We seek a dynamic, adaptable individual with strong case management capabilities, decision-making skills, relationship skills, and problem-solving skills. This person must be able to build rapport, motivate clients, and work effectively in an office and remote setting.
Essential Requirements
* Leaving Certificate or equivalent qualification.
* Minimum three years' experience in a customer-focused, target-driven environment.
* Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
* Comfortable using remote working technology.
* Excellent administrative skills, fast and accurate data entry.
* Ability to build rapport with diverse individuals.
* Experience in delivering presentations and public speaking.
* Strong prioritization and time management skills.
* Fluent written and spoken English.
