Finance Leader Opportunity
A senior leadership position has become available for an experienced finance professional to lead the financial and compliance aspects of a not-for-profit organisation in South Dublin.
Main Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement a comprehensive financial strategy, ensuring the organisation's financial sustainability and effective governance.
* Lead and motivate a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
* Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and financial models to drive strategic decision-making.
* Oversight of financial controls, systems, accounting policies, and procedures to maintain compliance with best practices.
* Manage cash flow, reserves, and investment strategies to ensure optimal resource allocation.
* Provide timely and accurate management accounts, financial statements, and reports for the Board.
* Oversee payroll, taxation, grant management, and funding applications to maximise revenue streams.
* Coordinate grant applications and develop new income opportunities to enhance organisational growth.
Requirements:
* Qualified accountant (with significant post-qualification experience) in a senior finance role.
* Deep knowledge of financial management, compliance, and risk governance, as well as experience managing audits, grant funding, and public sector reporting requirements.
* Excellent leadership and team management skills, combined with strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
* Frequent communication and stakeholder engagement with key stakeholders.
* Familiarity with public funding and regulatory frameworks in Ireland, as well as charity governance and compliance best practices.
