About the Role
This Part-time OTC Pharmacy Assistant position is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and energetic individual to join our family-owned Pharmacy Group at The Lough.
Responsibilities:
* Maximise sales opportunities by engaging with customers about OTC products and providing a high-quality sales service tailored to each individual's needs.
* Provide advice and assistance to customers in OTC sales, referring them to trained personnel when necessary.
* Maintain optimal stock levels and pricing, ensuring goods are attractively displayed through effective merchandising.
* Operate electronic point of sale systems for sales, stock adjustments, and interbranch transfers.
* Receive orders, update new products on the till system, and handle paperwork such as invoices and statements.
* Clean stock, shop fittings, floor, and facilities daily or weekly.
* Assist the pharmacist in the daily running of the pharmacy.
Requirements:
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Good interpersonal and strong communication skills.
* Ability to build relationships within a team.
* Ability to prioritise and multi-task.
* A positive and professional attitude, with an appreciation for delivering exceptional customer service.
* Comfort using computerised equipment such as cash registers, credit card payment terminals, and barcode scanners.
* An active interest in pharmacy and health.
