Simon said, “Denis the new Warehouse Manager will be key in getting accreditation listed/ and making standards are met- and at the same time; be a vital cog in our wheel – a link between the various teams and I am also hoping/looking for someone who can challenge me; challenge thinking so we can improve processes and ways of working- it will be a really good time to join us on this exciting journey as we look to expand both here and in the UK.”Official purpose of the roleThe purpose of this role is to ensure the warehouse and associated touch points with the national accounts team, van sales and delivery teams operates to the highest standards of effective and quality service levels.Responsibilities include:Manage processes across warehouse and logistics with the goal to improving operations for efficiency and cost-saving targets.Oversee stock levels, rotation of raw materials and finished stock, and overall inventory accuracy.Manage the deliveries of outbound product in collaboration with the sales and delivery team by creating order manifests and delivery schedules.Aid in the procurement process of production raw materials and managing inbound deliveries.Maintain the quality control process for all outbound products.Implement agreed packaging procedures and maintain a high standard of data logging and record keeping.Adhere to the H&S procedures and Food Standard processes maintaining full compliance across the team.Support the wider team where needed in packaging and overall production.Key Skills and Experience:3-4 years in a Warehouse Manager/logistics manager would be highly desirable.Excellent communicator with exceptional presentational skills and the ability to act and behave like a leader.Forklift license would be highly desirable.Demonstrate the ability to challenge opinion and demonstrate initiative.For more information please contact Denis Mac Sweeney on 087 977 2742 or email Denis at denis@amicus.ie.
