ELECTRICAL UTILITIES ENGINEER

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the Site Services Team in the Turnover/Commissioning of Projects. This includes conducting walk-downs with the Project Team on behalf of the Site and generating punch-lists as required.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage Punch-lists and oversee the close-out of raised punches.
">
* Review documentation of various systems prior to turnover.
">
* Liaise with Project System Owners as required.
">
* Assist with the Commissioning & Supporting of System Integration.
">
* Ensure Safety & Quality standards are met, and safe working practices adhered to.
">
* Develop a project plan and qualification strategy in line with Abbvie requirements.
">
* Monitor and report on project plan progress, communicate any shortfalls in specific areas of the plan and where needed identify solutions to address the shortfalls.
">
* Organise and/or attend necessary meetings that are required for progress gathering or plan alignment.
">

Requirements:
">
">
* Degree in Electrical Engineering (desired but not essential).
">
* Electrical Trade qualified (QQI Level 6) – Advanced Craft Electrical Cert or Electrical & Instrumentation Cert.
">
* Minimum 5 years' experience in Engineering or a related discipline, with project management experience.
">
* Knowledge/Understanding of Site Electrical Infrastructure, Substations, Electrical Distribution, PLC's, Electrical Drawings, P&ID's, IS.101010, etc.
">
* Comfortable using IT applications including MS Word, Excel, etc.
